Tumbling Classes
Regular Tumbling Class Advanced Tumbling Class Tiny Tumbling Class
If you are interested in joining our tumbling program, you will be joining the BEST cheer/tumbling tumbling program in the state of Iowa.
Our coaches know how to teach tumbling! We know that you want to learn how to do back handsprings all the way up to double fulls. We will not waste any time teaching you skills that you will not need.
Our coaches know how to spot all tumblers and all skills, no matter the age, height, size or skill level.
Most gymnastic clubs and coaches work at a slow perfection before progression rate. That means a student has to perfect a forward roll before they move on to a back roll, and so on and so on until they get to standing back handsprings. Our coaches have a total of 40 years of coaching between them and we know how to teach back handsprings, and how to teach them fast.
This class is for our Tiny Tumblers ages 8 and under. This class will focus on the basics of tumbling. To view our Tiny Tumbling Class Schedule, please click on the Class Schedule button under the Gym Info button above.
In this class, we will focus on stregth and flexibility to improve the overall conditioning of the tumblers. We will then perfect the skills that each athlete is working on, whether it be a cart wheel, a round off, a back handspring or more advanced skills. The good thing about our tumbling classes is that we work at the level of the individual student involved.
Our goal is to get every individual to throw a standing and running back handsprings so they can then advance to our next level of tumbling classes. Our Coaches are the best when it comes to working with cheerleaders/dancers and gymnasts.
We will start every person on the basics of back handsprings and move them up from there.This class is for the person that does not yet have a standing back handspring or a round off back handspring. During this class, we will work you toward the ultimate goal of throwing both running and standing back handsprings.
With drills, we will work the following in these classes:
The Jump of a back handspring using foam mats
The arch, using back walkovers and bridges
Overall strength and conditioning
Kart wheels and round off rebounds
Standing back handsprings spotted on the wedge, tumbltrak, and trampoline
Running round off back handsprings spotted on the tumbltrak and spring floorand much more!
This class is for students that can throw a back handspring and a round off back handspring all by them selves with no spot.

During this class, our coaches will work on the following skills:
Multiple back handsprings, back handspring tucks, standing tucks, layouts, fulls, double fulls, standing fulls, kick fulls, kick doubles, front tumbling, speciality passes, and so much more!!!!
Our gym has the equipment and our coaches have the knowledge to push every student to achieve more than they ever have. Our ultimate goal is to make sure every person increase their skills that they currently have. Our coaches have wonderful drills and techniques to push every cheerleader and dancer as far as they want to go. We use our 30 foot tumbltrak, wedge and spring floor to practice our drills that will take them to the next level. If your student has stalled in learning new tumbling skills, this class is for you. We have a very safe and fun environment to learn more advanced skills.
